The speech

This speech was written by Charles Chaplin in his role as dictator (Hynkel) imitating Hittler, who was a bloody and heartless dictator who shocked the world with his coolness, he was the bad protagonist of World War II.
Chaplin wants with the film The Great Dictator and especially with this speech  make people aware that what the world needs is peace, do not agree with violence and we can all help each other, all can work together and achieve a world without violence have not dictators or rulers.

Charles Chaplin´s biography

Charlie Chaplin was born on April 16, 1889 and died on December 25, 1977. He was director, producer, writer, composer and actor, winning an Oscar.
He is the figure most representative of the silent film, which is why his fame is so great that it is considered a genius of silent films.
His childhood was very hard, since his father died when he was 12 and his mother was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
Since very little he began working as an actor and made his first appearance at the age of 5 years, so it received good reviews.
Always stood out for its good performance and it was moving rapidly through the world of film, so he was making and soon was in Hollywood.
His most recognized movies are The Boy, Modern Times and The Great Dictator, which are characterized by their humor and for being funniest and enjoyable for the public.
He was exiled in 1952 on the grounds that their presence helped to destroy the moral fiber of America.
His films and movies are a big influence on what is now the theater on the big screens, and his legacy is deep and to be continued for years.
